Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights in early July and had a lovely time. The price can’t compare to what we would have paid to stay in a hotel, and it was nicer. It worked fine for us as we had the kids sleep on the sofa bed, although they loved the loft and played up there. It is in a great location, just off a main street so quiet. We took the Metro most places or walked, and our 5-year old and 8-year old did a great job. Bar seating in the kitchen, so we had breakfast here every morning, and take-out dinner one night when too exhausted to go out. It does include a hair dryer and iron, which I was not sure about. Leah who checked us in was awesome and accommodating, we were late getting there. We’ll definitely use you again and will seek out this apartment as well.

I had an excellent stay in Rue St. Paul. The staff was accomodating, efficient and friendly which made the transaction with them extremely easy. Gabriel was very nice and patient with any questions I had when we met at the apartment. The location was excellent, and yes the mezzanine bed was a bit of a challenge, but I loved the apartment. It is modern and everything worked to my complete satisfaction. I will recommend the agency to friends and I will use their services again when I’m next in Paris.

Our experience wiht 16 Rue St. Paul is very good. We called from Gare du Nord that we were arived. We met at the appartment, where we get the keys of the appartment and an explanation of the appartment. The apartment was for us in a perfect location. Rue Saint Paul is a nice little street with lots of very nice antique and specialty shops as well as bakeries and even a grocery store! When you walk out the street you come in rue Rivoli or at the Seine. Great! It is near various metro stops. Everything was in the neighbourhoud and we experienced that we lived in Paris. Fantastic! Next time we will rent again an appartment (rue Saint Pault.

I have to say that our experience with SCI PA Location and in our flat at 16 Rue St. Paul could not have been better. First off, communication with the agency was excellent- they had the taxi waiting for us at the airport that took us straight to the apartment where Jean Paul was there to let us in and show us around. The apartment was in the most perfect location. Rue Saint Paul is a beautiful and quiet little street with lots of very nice antique and specialty shops as well as bakeries and even a grocery store! It is near various metro stops, the Seine, and the many other attractions. It was soo nice to be able to walk almost anywhere we needed to go. We were able to walk to Ile Saint Louis and Notre Dame in a matter of minutes, as well as the Pompidou, the Bastille, Place des Vosges and lots of other sites. The apartment itself was perfect also. It was tastefully decorated, had a fully equipped kitchen so that we could make dinner on some nights. The windows opened so a nice breeze could come in. I will say that the loft area was cozy…bumped our heads a few times, but nothing to complain about. Overall, our entire stay was just great. Perfect way to see and experience Paris!

We can only repeat what others have said regarding the perfect neighbourhood / location, the lovely old apartment and the caution about the loft bed. It wasn’t a problem for us as it was part of the charm. Gabriel was waiting for use when we arrived and supplied plenty of company phone numbers that we never needed to use. The wireless made booking reservations and finding specific shops a breeze.
If you want a young lovers holiday in the city suited to young love, this apartment in Rue Saint Paul is sure to please.

We stayed there with 2 children aged 3 and 5 for nearly 3 weeks – the weather was hot but the apartment only has windows on one side so there was no air flow. After a few days SCI finally managed to get us another fan which improved things a bit. The street below was very noisy and whilst the young kids slept through once they were asleep it required us to wear earplugs at night to be able to get a decent sleep. It was not possible to leave the windows closed as the air in the apartment became too stuffy. The location is fantastic but we wouldn’t stay in that apartment again as the noise at night is just too loud and no air flow makes it uncomfortable. The fold out sofa could not be closed up so the limited space was even more limited.

My stay at 12, Rue de Buci last April was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! A fantastic location, the staff were terrific, and my mother and I had the time of our lives! I would gladly return to this apt. the next time I visit Paris – which will be soon; although I could use a second tutorial on working the washer/ dryer. Again, a wonderful experience – thank you for helping me give my mom the gift of Paris in spring!

I agree with all the above. Apt. charming, in great bustling neighborhood, 2 bathrooms a real plus and the bed very comfortable.

Our one major complaint (besides the empty walls which could have used a couple of tasteful works of art,) was that, for the hour or two we rested during the day, there was NO comfortable chair, or sofa to sit on. The daybed was not comfortable as a sofa, and at least one easy chair, beyond the rickety one which was there, would have made a big difference for us. For us to return to this apt. we would hope to have that improvement. Otherwise, the agency responded well.

12 Rue de Buci is a great location.Restarants, cafes, supermarket and two metros are on the door step. The river is a short stroll. The apartment being on a high floor is bright and comfortable. It also has character. You do hear however, at night, the busy street below. it’s not bad but it is a busy night life spot. If you want to be in the heart of Paris, I would recommend this apartment.

My wife, me, and our two sons (20 and 22) stayed at this apartment in early May. We concur exactly with all the comments posted just a couple of days ago (on June 17, 2009) by Andrea. The two bathrooms were also very helpful since we were 4 adults. Gabriel was kind enough to meet us on a weekend, even though we were uncertain at what exact time we would arrive. I would suggest two small improvements to make this apartment even more attractive: 1) a few pictures or paintings on the walls would make it look nicer and warmer, and 2) a second set of keys. When you have 4 adults that may not be doing things together all the time, not having a second set of keys was a problem. The location was absolutely superb!!!
