We stayed for a week in Nov 2010. The bathroom smell is still not resolved, no matter how much bleach I poured down and around the sink, the smell persists.
Otherwise, a great pad, it all worked out very well.
I would not rent this apt again unless I was assured the bathroom was fixed.

We stayed there from 13sept to 16sept.The apartment was just nice with wonderful location. All amenities are closeby,3/4 metros are under 5/10 min by walk so are famous departmental stores and restaurants.Opera Garnier and Madelline are also closeby. Ms Axelle was very co operative and was availble in need.Though the shower is very congested but is manageable.Overall,it was a nice experince.

My husband and I just returned from Paris and staying at OPERA04 apartment. I can not say enough about the experience! We were met by Eric a few minutes after we arrived. He showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. The location is fantastic. We came for a concert at the Olympia Theatre and it was just a few blocks away. Restaurants, metro, grocery store, etc.. all within a few blocks. I thought my husband was crazy when he suggested we rent an apartment instead of staying at a hotel, but this is the route we will take from now on. The coffee maker and the refrigerator alone made the difference. Having two separate rooms was so convenient when one of us wanted to sleep in or nap. There is still the smell in the bathroom, however, but it wasn’t something that would keep me from staying there again. And, it is true that only one device could use the internet at one time. It was a pain, but nothing we couldn’t work around. All in all, the whole experience was fantanstic and we would not hesitate to do it again.

We just stayed for two weeks in OPERA04. It was not dark, chilly or uncomfortable, but it was August. It was very clean and the size was perfect for our family of four (two adolescent children). The amenities provided all we needed, but I only cooked once (scrambled eggs at that), so I can’t say how well equipped the kitchen is otherwise.

The location is perfect, walking distance to so many things (we even walked to Montmartre) and several metro stops very close by. With the supermarket on the same street, a pharmacy around the corner and department stores two blocks north, we were able to get anything we didn’t bring.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet, though it is the time of year most Parisians are away on holiday, so I don’t know what it’s like otherwise. We loved the Cafe Olympia around the corner on Madeleine blvd. Fauchon has great stuff but is too expensive, in my opinion.

Now for the problems. When we got there our agent was not there to meet us. Thank goodness, we had hired their partner taxi company to take us to the apartment and the driver, Jean Paul, was wonderful. He made several phone calls until he was able to get in touch with someone who said our agent would be there in an hour, which was surprising. We lugged our suitcases to a nearby cafe to wait, so it wasn’t terrible, but it was annoying after traveling all night.

The internet connection is flaky; we also learned you should only connect one device to it at a time (for example, we could only connect either the computer or our daughter’s iPod touch but not both simultaneously).

The big problem is the smell in the bathroom. There is a leak under the sink which might be the source of the problem. I’ve mentioned it to Fabien, so hopefully it’ll be resolved for the next tenant. From the comments of the renter in November 2009, it appears the problem developed after that.

In summary, I’d rent the apartment again without hesitation if the bathroom problem was fixed.

I was not so happy with OPERA04. We had previously rented from this agency and that apt. was wonderful, but I felt the apartment was dark, chilly, and uncomfortable; it felt like a student apartment. Not to mention the smelly bathroom. The kitchen was inadequate and pots and pans were on shelves too high for me to reach. I also disliked having to use keys to exit the apartment: it was very difficult to make the lock work from the inside.
The neighborhood was wonderful, though! And I would also like to praise Jean-Claude, who got us to and from the airport with great care and courtesy.

We were totally satisfied with the service, as well as the apartment. We stayed at OPERA04.

We had just come from a not so great apartment from a different management company in Rome, and were very disapointed.

So, this apartment was a very welcome experience.

The staff was complete in showing us how to use everything, the apartment was beautiful and modern and clean.

I would definitely stay there again, and would happily recommend  the agency to others.

Pleasant, spacious apartment, good views to Montmartre. Pleasant and convenient situation. Overall, we found it good value.
However, the phone was not working when we were there, and was not repaired. Lift cramped and creaking.

This apartment is charming in an “authentic” way. The address is wonderful, one block off Place Vendome but a very different block with sushi restaurants and other small businesses. The apartment is reached through a classic courtyard door, however the courtyard is occupied by the rear of a restaurant and full of its trash bins and aromas. The apartment itself is just as pictured with lovely windows looking out on a bank across the street and slightly uneven authentic herringbone hardwood floors. The kitchen is excellently appointed with everything you would need to cook even relatively sophisticated things. The advertised internet connection, however, was so spotty it was useless.
Although there was some controversy over payment in travelers’ checks (they are not available denominated in euros at US banks) this apparently resolved itself and we had no further contact with SCI PA Location.

All in all we found this a lovely place to stay at a great price and found the agency honest and accommodating.

OPERA08 – rue de Provence, 75009 Paris

I stayed in the OPERA08 for 11 nights in Oct 2009.

I used the taxi service to and from Paris, which was very convenient. I was met outside the location by a very nice agent, who explained everything in detail. Even left me with a page of codes in case the wi-fi provided didn’t work.

The apartment itself is quite small but is charming & has enough amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. Perfect for 2 people. With the plentiful amount of shops nearby, I was able to make most of my meals at the apartment.

Also, I really liked that the apartment is located away from the street, so it feels quieter. Except for the noisy neighbors, whom I could hear through the walls every once in a while. Earplugs helped!

There was also several Metro stops in the vicinity, which made traveling around Paris quite easy. And the Galeries Lafayette & Printemps are less than a 10 minute walk away.

In sum, I enjoyed my stay in Paris and at the 5 rue de Provence. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Great value & a very helpful staff!

Nice apartment, small but good. Location is perfect. I would definitely recommend it and personally prefer this above a stay in a hotel. Service was also good (meet and greet for key etc.).

Very nice apartment, quiet, clean, near the subway, but it would really help an air conditioner, because I had a it was very hot in paris the week I stayed and it was hotter in the apartment.
I would recommend it.
