first contacting SCI was very quick, and effecient, the agent who welcomed us was very pleasant and gave us help with the luggage under the rain, when the taxi driver didn’t provide any. Check-in agent gave us time and quality service. And the apartment was clean, very good for its price, and in a nice passage especially in the weekends’ nights. we enjoyed our stay and -as were a common visitors to Paris- would always explore the apartments of this renting company.

The apartment was beautiful, inexpensive, had all the amenities I needed, and was right next to a metro stop, which was very convenient. Joel, who let us into the apartment, was very nice and informative, and easy to get a hold of even though our flight was late and we were late in arriving. I would definitely stay with SCI again!

The apartment is well located, very near the Metro and amenities. It’s simple but suitable and a good cost/benefit.
The agency people were very nice.
I would come back again.

The location is excellent, quiet but close to all amenities, including Metro. Parisian and not too touristic. A private & cozy space (good heating). Very good value. Only negative was the strong smoke smell – even though the property was non-smoking – but this may pass. The SCI people were very easy to deal with.

Hi Liam,

For the most part I had a positive experience with the apartment MONTPAR01 when I stayed there for the last 3 months of 2010. However there were a few problems regarding the general condition of the electrics and the security.

Regarding the electricity, many of the sockets needed to be replaced as they came loose from the wall and there was exposed wiring. Similarly the supply to the kitchen appeared to need repairs for example using the microwave caused the lights to flicker. Electricty in the other rooms was for the most part okay, however what I think were surges in the flow of electricity caused many of the lightbulbs to die.

Regarding security the shutters to the front of the apartment did not close fully and there was a crack in the bottom right hand pane of the front window when I arrived; the pane needs to be replaced but was instead held in place by thin wooden strips tacked to the window frame. Considering the appartment is on street level I was reluctant to leave personal items in the apartment when going away at weekends and returned to the appartment several times to find the shutters had been pulled apart during my absence.

Other than those two issues the apartment was fine and suited my needs perfectly.

Yours, Alison

I agree completely with the following comment taken from the blog above.

The location was really great, and having the grocery down the street was a huge help. The two metro stations made getting around easy, and we weren’t very far if we wanted to walk as well.

The only major downsides were that the hot water was actually not very hot and you could only really take a shower if you kept the water pressure very very low. Additionally, while the apartment was advertised as having internet, it did not. You could connect to the agency’s wireless from another of their apartments, but it was extremely unreliable.

But we had an amazing trip and having all the amenities to cook our own food and a nice quiet street made it just that much better.” The only difference with my experience and this one is that the internet wifi did work for me, which was an important advantage. I would glady rent an apartment from SCI PA Location the next time I go to Paris. It was much preferable to a hotel room for one week.

The location was wonderful, the street was a beautiful cobblestone side street. There was a lovely fruit and veg market nearby that was open late and a few blocks down were many markets and restaurants. We were a short 20 minute walk to the St. Germain district, and near two train stations which was incredibly convenient. We will most definitely use this agency on our next trip to france.

This was my second stay at this appt but I don’t think I will stay there again. The appt is very well equipped and there is nothing missing but lack of sunlight, the window in the living face a wall. The kitchen is a bit small so if you like to cook, there is no room to prep. However, it is very well equipped. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and is quiet. If you have a lot of luggage, there is no elevator and the stairway is a bit narrow and can be a bit a challenge when you are going down. Luckily, Fabian from SCI PA was very nice with helping us with carrying our luggage going up. I love the close proximity of Rue Daguerre and Montparnasse.

Well-equipped apartment in a good area. The apartment is quiet so a night’s sleep is not a problem. My only complaint is that the apartment gets very little sunlight as it is so secluded. In the surrounding area you can enjoy many restaurants and bars but the area is by no means boisterous and is good for a peaceful break. SCI service was good as usual.

Nicely decorated and functional. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and is very quiet. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. I loved the modern bathroom with a nice size shower and a washing/dryer machine. The small inconvenience is if you have a lot of luggage, there is no elevator and the stairway is a bit narrow. Luckily, the lady from SCI PA Location was very nice with helping us with carrying our luggage. I would definitely stay again at this location.

I’ve stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and everything went fine. The apartment was comfortable and functional. The location was perfect for my purpose. It’s close to metro stations, shopping areas and good restaurants.
The service provided by SCI was efficient.
Definitively I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Paris.
