My husband and I stayed here for 3 and half weeks. Position is perfect, close to ALL things, shops, monuments and the Metro. Room was small but enough for 2 adults. There is no electric dryer but a clothes airer. Towel warmer was more than enough to warm the studio, but there were two other heaters when needed. We had a problem with no hot water after a few days but this was fixed VERY quickly. All contact and arrangements made with the agent were very smooth and professional and I have no hesitation recommending SCI PA. In Australia we are used to no hidden $, the price given is the $ you pay. Not so in other countries, but with here there are not hidden charges, the price is what you pay, makes overseas travel easy to budget for. I researched for 2 years while planning our trip, do your self a favour don’t go past this company, save your self from unexpected charges, their prices are also the best I could find. Will we use them again! YES.

Please note: outside noise. This was tolerable if one shut the window to the outside street and opened the windows to the courtyard, but this allowed mosquitoes to enter. Dryer was a rack. Excellent location. Clean, adequately supplied apartment, although it needs a can opener. Attentive service, if surly, from the agent. The driver who arrived to pick us up at the airport was late, but traffic to the airport was a parking lot that day. Excellent and prompt return service to the airport when we left. All in all, we liked the apartment and felt that we were treated fairly, and would return with a can of bug spray. Yes, SCI takes the credit card number but keeps it secure and operates with integrity.

Although I’ve been to Paris many times, my stay at the apartment on rue Frédéric Sauton was my first experience with SCI PA Location, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. From the reservation process to check-out, everything was handled with professionalism and efficiency.

The apartment itself was very nice as well. The phone didn’t work when I arrived, but they sent a repair person very promptly. Everything else worked perfectly throughout my three-week stay.

As others have commented, the location is great. Being so close to the Latin Quarter does mean that there’s a bit of street noise, particularly on weekends. But the great location more than compensates for any transitory inconvenience.

I’ll definitely be staying with this agency again. Merci mille fois, Fabien!

My husband and I stayed at the apartment NOTRE09 last October. This apartment is perfect in every aspect. Perfect location, well equiped and designed. We had all we needed to feel at home. We felt like living in Paris and we promised ourselves to go back to this apt. every time we visit.
The agency is also excellent. From the very begining it was a pleasure to deal with them. The staff was extremly nice and helpfull; not to mention that the apt. was exactly what they showed and promised.
All together it was an excellent experience, and for sure we will be back.

We loved this apartment and felt as if we were truly living in Paris. We stayed there for 10 days in early May and reveled in its ideal location, so close to wonderful food shops (for morning croissants and brioche) and a farmer’s market, various Metro stops, and a quick walk over to Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cite AND just one block away from Notre Dame. What a joy to walk out our door every morning and see this magnificent masterpiece, and to open our windows and hear its bells tolling. Like a beautiful dream. The apartment was a perfect size and nicely laid out and decorated, with great natural light and a clean contemporary feel. We had not been to Paris for 25 years, and staying here was a perfect re-introduction. We are already planning our next trip.

Myself and two others stayed at 5 rue Frederic Sauton in the Latin quarter from August 12 to the 17, 2009. The apartment was very well located and within a few blocks walking distance to the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the main restaurant and pedestrian area of the Latin Quarter. We were also close to St. Germain where there was alternate shopping. We were close to the metro and the ability to be mobile. The apartment was cute and very convenient, and we felt immersed in the culture of Paris while still being close to night life and shops and cafes. The Seine is only a block away, and I really liked staying there. If I were going to Paris again, I would stay there again without question. I have stayed in Paris in other areas previously and felt so distanced from everything. So this apartment was great and we enjoyed our stay in Paris. Marsha from California

5 rue Frederic Sauton, in which I just spent 10 days, is a delightful location in Quartier Latin.
I came to Paris alone to write and found #5 to be an ideal location for writing, shopping for vegetables, having espresso, and central for exploring Montparnasse, Montmarte, Champ de Mars, Etoile, & Bastille areas, as well as closer neighborhoods.

The double bed is firm, fine for 2 people, lighting is good, washer works well. The TV was not working, but I didn’t need it.

One suggestion to SCI PA Location would be to
have an extra key in the neighborhood, perhaps
with a local merchant. I locked myself out one
evening, after the SCI office had
closed, and had to get a hotel for the night.

Avoid the Musee Picasso: Tacky boutique with
little art.

I loved this appartment, am very keen to return to it and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. It was beautifully clean, had everything I needed for a weeks stay and had good water pressure for the shower. It is a wonderfully central location, and in fact, I have not a single negative comment!

Paris Plage 2011 – July 21st to August 21st

The phenomenom ofParis Plage (Paris Beach) celebrates it’s 10th anniversary over the next month on the North bank of the Seine alongside Ile de la Cite and Ile St Louis.

What is normally a busy traffic route is transformed into a beach with deckchairs, parasols, cabins and showers, boardwalks and palm trees. A continuous daily programme of cultural and sporting activities combined with specially constructed cafes, bars, restuarants and ice cream vendors completes the seaside offering.

Great fun and a novel attraction for tourists, it helps to keep Parisians who remain in the city for August, relatively cool!!

Notre Dame Gardens – a break from the tourist trail and maybe even a quick snooze !

When the going gets tough and you need respite from the crowds and din on the concrete plaza or the queue for the towers in front of Notre Dame, slip through the little gate to the right/river side of the cathedral itself and you will find yourself in a beautiful flowered garden with shady trees and benches overlooking the Seine and Ile Saint Louis.

Very few people even know it exists so it is just the place for a break from the hurly-burly of being a tourist in Paris – you could even have a little snooze !!

Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights in early July and had a lovely time. The price can’t compare to what we would have paid to stay in a hotel, and it was nicer. It worked fine for us as we had the kids sleep on the sofa bed, although they loved the loft and played up there. It is in a great location, just off a main street so quiet. We took the Metro most places or walked, and our 5-year old and 8-year old did a great job. Bar seating in the kitchen, so we had breakfast here every morning, and take-out dinner one night when too exhausted to go out. It does include a hair dryer and iron, which I was not sure about. Leah who checked us in was awesome and accommodating, we were late getting there. We’ll definitely use you again and will seek out this apartment as well.

I had an excellent stay in Rue St. Paul. The staff was accomodating, efficient and friendly which made the transaction with them extremely easy. Gabriel was very nice and patient with any questions I had when we met at the apartment. The location was excellent, and yes the mezzanine bed was a bit of a challenge, but I loved the apartment. It is modern and everything worked to my complete satisfaction. I will recommend the agency to friends and I will use their services again when I’m next in Paris.

Our experience wiht 16 Rue St. Paul is very good. We called from Gare du Nord that we were arived. We met at the appartment, where we get the keys of the appartment and an explanation of the appartment. The apartment was for us in a perfect location. Rue Saint Paul is a nice little street with lots of very nice antique and specialty shops as well as bakeries and even a grocery store! When you walk out the street you come in rue Rivoli or at the Seine. Great! It is near various metro stops. Everything was in the neighbourhoud and we experienced that we lived in Paris. Fantastic! Next time we will rent again an appartment (rue Saint Pault.

I have to say that our experience with SCI PA Location and in our flat at 16 Rue St. Paul could not have been better. First off, communication with the agency was excellent- they had the taxi waiting for us at the airport that took us straight to the apartment where Jean Paul was there to let us in and show us around. The apartment was in the most perfect location. Rue Saint Paul is a beautiful and quiet little street with lots of very nice antique and specialty shops as well as bakeries and even a grocery store! It is near various metro stops, the Seine, and the many other attractions. It was soo nice to be able to walk almost anywhere we needed to go. We were able to walk to Ile Saint Louis and Notre Dame in a matter of minutes, as well as the Pompidou, the Bastille, Place des Vosges and lots of other sites. The apartment itself was perfect also. It was tastefully decorated, had a fully equipped kitchen so that we could make dinner on some nights. The windows opened so a nice breeze could come in. I will say that the loft area was cozy…bumped our heads a few times, but nothing to complain about. Overall, our entire stay was just great. Perfect way to see and experience Paris!

We can only repeat what others have said regarding the perfect neighbourhood / location, the lovely old apartment and the caution about the loft bed. It wasn’t a problem for us as it was part of the charm. Gabriel was waiting for use when we arrived and supplied plenty of company phone numbers that we never needed to use. The wireless made booking reservations and finding specific shops a breeze.
If you want a young lovers holiday in the city suited to young love, this apartment in Rue Saint Paul is sure to please.

This apartment was a perfect home base for all 8 of us in Paris. We traveled with four adults and four children, and this location placed us near many restaurants, main attractions, a grocery story, a small bakery across the street, the metro and many adorable shops. My parents are already planning to go back and stay in this same apartment. We were very comfortable, had plenty of room, and felt very safe. The view from the window of the Seine river, along with the breeze was priceless.

Fabulous stay in beautiful Paris at this great apartment in early January 2011. Our family of 8 were very comfortable in this roomy apartment and found it very clean & well stocked. Superb location (bakery across the road is amazing). We already look forward to returning & highly recommend. SCI PA Location provide an excellent service.

Fantastic apartment! Great location and views, bakery across the street is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights in late Aug/early September and loved it. Would definitely return. Only (small) complaint is that it’s a tad noisy with windows open, but that’s city living for you.

PA Location staff who met us was great. Easy to reach and responsive prior to arrival, ready and waiting when we arrived at the apartment. Highly recommend.

My family stayed ‘On the island’ as we referred to 18 rue des Deux Ponts. The apartment was fabulous. We arrived on the day that the snow storms had created havoc with the airports but Jules patiently waited for us even though we were 5 hours late. We found all the information left on the desk and the cupboard re where things were. We used the Metro constantly and safely from the Pont Marie and Citie. A seperate WC in addition to the modern bathroom and hand basin in the master bedroom worked well. The bakery across from the apartment is to die for as is the Creamerie turning left at Rue Ile Saint Louis. We will be back definitely.

We stayed in the apartment in late October. The location was wonderful and easy walking distance to so much to see in Paris. Convenient to metro as well. I would like to see heavy curtains on second bedroom as the street light is directly outside. In addition, the early morning rubbish collections several days per week woke us up.
The apartment is great for a group of people sharing. I would have liked to see instructions to local supermarket etc so that when one arrives one can go and get supplies quickly and easily. We found them eventually but not before paying many euros to some of the more local shopkeepers. Great place to stay and I would definitely return.

6 of us had a great stay in the apartment for 4 nights. The location was very central, with everyhting at your doorstep. Highly recommended

Our company had 6 people stay at this apartment in August. The location was fantastic and the views of the Seine were spectacular. We would definitely have folks stay here again.
