Hi Liam

Overall, we were happy with the accommodation and would either use it again or recommend it. Location is excellent and quiet for somewhere so central. The amenities on Ile Saint Louis were very sufficient for our requirement and we were pleasantly surprised that so many of them were open for the Christmas period. Our welcome from Eric was very professional and he explained all we needed to know.

If I had to nitpick, it would be around the cooking facilities. I know that ceramic rings are the most cost-efficient way for landlords to provide these but they take a long time to reach the heat required for cooking. Also, the microwave combi just doesn’t work that well as an oven. The landlord had also painted very recently which spruced the place up but did mean that the odour lingered. However, these are relatively minor things and didn’t’ detract from a wonderful stay.

One other good thing was around the keys – I know that sounds really ludicrous but you’ve no idea how many places we’ve stayed in where the process of entering the place was a challenge !

Thanks, Patrick

I would stay in one of your apartments next time I visit Paris. I loved this studio and the position on Île Saint-Louis. It was compact – great for one person.

We have just returned from a week’s stay in LOUIS01. Very happy with the organisation.. Joel was right on time to meet us and showed us how everything worked. The apartment was compact but had everything we could want. The location on the Isle St Louis is fantastic…lovely and quiet street but very central to all Paris has to offer. Will recommend to everyone.

We stayed for 10 nights in October 2011 at LOUIS01. It was wonderful for a couple. We were met by Eric when we arrived who helped with how the appliances worked. The location is ideal, close but tucked away on the very beautiful Ile St Louis, with a wonderful boulangerie just around the corner. Highly recommend the apartment, we were very sad to leave.

Liam, Just a note to let you know that we had a great break in Paris. The apartment we stayed in,  LOUIS01, was super and all in order. Wonderfully located and a very smart area. We look forward to using Paris Apartments by Numbers again in the future. Kevin

Hi Liam. We really enjoyed our stay in your apartmentLOUIS01.  It was the perfect location for a city centre visit and close to all transport hubs Arrangements before the trip were excellent and all your communications were very informative.  Meeting the Paris Apartments by Numbers agent at the appartment worked out fine and all her instructions were clear. Thanks again for your help and advice. Nicola

Our week in LOUIS01 was a delight! We fell in love with Ile Saint Louis, and felt that we had chosen the perfect “home” from which to explore Paris for our very first time! The apartment is lovely – light, airy and quiet – with well maintained amenities, and the neighbourhood is wonderful, with cafes, restaurants, and shops just minutes away, as well as a great little grocery store and a fantastic bakery literally around the corner!
The representative from SCI PA Location made the checking in process easy, informative, and friendly. We have been most pleased and impressed with our experience, and will definitely stay in this apartment again when we return to Paris (because one week in this glorious city is definitely not enough!)

My wife & I had a great time in Paris this August staying in a studio apartment booked through Paris Apartments by Numbers. We were staying in  Rue Le Regrattier literally 2 mins walk from Notre Dame, within the sound of it’s bells too. The apartment was lovely and clean, compact and fully fitted. It was close to all amenities, shops, restaurants, bars etc.

Even the transport links were close. When we got the train from CDG to Notre Dame-St.Michel we were near the appartment, and that is a busy Metro with links to all the places we wanted to go to. The red bus stop and all buses were near us also.

If we did not want to travel then the Latin Quarter was a 5 min walk from the Ile Saint-Louis with plenty of restaurants and the famous Shakespeare & Co book-shop which has to be seen as much as all the famous Parisian sites. Jarlath Lavelle Coolock Dublin 5, Ireland.

The apartment was fantastic, clean, modern and in an ideal location. It is close to great restaurants, shops and the metro. This was our first stay in Paris and the first time I have used this web-site to book an apartment. Everything worked like clock work and the arranged person was there waiting for us. My only negative comment was that we could not work out the dryer. Not a big deal.
Anyway recommend highly

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay during Feb 2010 at 23 rue Le Regrattier. Paris Apartments by Numbers offered us a great and cost effective way of staying in the absolute heart of Paris and enjoying Paisian life on one of the Seine’s beautiful islands. The apartment itself  was lovely and bright with it’s high ceiling and amazing beam and while we took the opportunity an apartment gives to mix home cooking with wonderful Parisian produce available at the doorstep, we also dined out at a range of restaurants and bistros within a stone’s throw.

We would highly recommend the Paris Apartments by Numbers formula from the airport pick-up to their Blog with advice on local sites and eateries. Thanks again, Mike and Sandra.

Just had a wonderful weekend stay in Paris in LOUIS01 with my mom. The location was unbeatable with every convenience seconds away. It was very quiet, clean and bright. SCI PA Location team was very accomodating offering us this place (an upgrade) as the one we had originally booked was under repair. Were very professional to work with. We would have liked having the option to have two sets of keys and the outside buzzer was not available to us as there was confusion about what the apartment number was. Had we wanted to separate it would have made for some confusion. Would recommend this apartment and the service. Thank you!

Just left- had a wonderful stay and the apt at LOUIS01 is fantastic. The location couldn’t be better and was equipped with everything we needed (only exception- wish the washing machine was a dryer, as well- had to hang our things all over to dry them). Lucia was very kind and flexible in meeting us later than our arranged time to let us in. The cafes and restaurants on the island were very good. Cannot wait to return and will recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. LOUIS01 was a cozy place, just the right size for me and my wife. The person who greeted us was extra nice and gave us instructions and a tour of the place. We had trouble with the wireless (something about PCs sometimes having trouble but Macs did not) but it didn’t matter because they had an ethernet cable. Ile St Louis is a very beautiful place to stay. There is a supermarket and a bakery just around the corner with reasonable prices. Notre Dame is just a couple of minutes away and we walked by there almost every day during our stay.

From the airport (CDG), take the RER B line to Paris and get off at Saint Michel and walk to the apartment. It is a beautiful walk to the apartment, especially when you walk by the Notre Dame and Seine river for the first time.

Also, note that although this is an island, it does not look like an island! Ile de Cite does not either (where Notre Dame is located).

I definitely want to come back to Paris and would recommend SCI PA Location.

Yet another great stay in Paris in our favorite apartment, LOUIS01. It now feels like a home away from home. Once again the SCI guys were really helpful. I’ll be back next year!

We stayed in at 23 rue le Regrattier during New Year’s eve period, and we greatly enjoyed it. The heating was OK, the bathroom spacious and comfortable, the bed very good. You have everything you need if you want to cook, even if it’s difficult because this apartment is very small, but you don’t go to Paris to cook. The building is really very quiet, you can sleep late in the morning, and the location is perfect! In the evening we had our little stroll to Notre Dame, which is very near. We recommend it to a couple, very romantic. Only little difficulty: it’s small, problems with putting away suitcases.

Very nice apartment except for the bathroom that is extremelly small. The service provided by the agency is excellent. The owners should take better care of their property but the agency managed to solve all the problems. I´ve already recomended.

Hello

We enjoyed your apartment. The location was good, the apartment clean and well equipped. We will certainly contact you again when we are in Paris. Thank you.

We enjoyed the apartment – the location was superb. We also enjoyed the fact that it was so quiet and that there was a separate kitchen area. I would definitely recommend it !! Great for 1-2 people.

Apartment was fantastic, well appointed and in a brilliant location. Have recommended your business to family and friends already – the apartment was exactly as described and was very clean and tidy. Cheers!

We enjoyed our stay for my wifes 50th Birthday on 15th June this year. The apartment was a perfect choice with its location close to lots of cafe’s and restaurants.
We found the apartment itself a good size for two, plenty of room, very clean and a lovely ‘Feel’ to it.
This was our first time in Paris and using this agency was a perfect choice, we will certainly visit again.

This quiet apartment is a nice size for 2 people, although the bedroom is small–the bed takes up the whole room. The bathroom is very nice. The apartment has nice furnishings that have an older style Parisian feel. Its windows face a narrow high courtyard, so it is on the dark side–you have to look out the window to see if the sun is shining. Overall, it is not as bright or elegant as the pictures on the web would suggest.
The location of this apartment is superb–very close to the wonderful patisseries, take out shops, restaurants and cafes of Rue de Buci and Germain area. It is convenient to the St. Michel metro/RER stopand an easy walk to Notre Dame and Louvre. This is our second time with SCI PA Location, and as usual the service is very good: reliable, friendly, capable and English speaking.

We LOVED this apartment, everything we wanted in the perfect location. Quiet, clean, highspeed internet service, so many nearby restaurant and shops. Just a perfect location between 2 metro stops and the RER to get to and from the airport. Agency personnel communications outstanding – we could not have asked for more!

We loved this Paris apartment – the pictures do not do it justice nor do they highlight the proximity to fabulous restaurants and Paris sites. Would recommend this apartment and company to anyone thinking about a trip to Paris.

Really nice apartment, discreetly stylish, very quiet and nicely located. And we all liked the owner Geraldine. Very much recommended.

The apartment is beautiful, well appointed and well located. There are nearby supermarkets, cafes bars and the metro. Geraldine who met us was extremely helpful and made us feel very at home. The taxi driver from the airport was also very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend SCI PA and would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were visiting Paris in the fall and the apartment was perfect! It is well represented by the photos online, was beautifully decorated and they even left flower pettles leading up to the front door for us. The neighbourhood has every convenience in walking distance without being full of tourists. I loved this apartment and would recommend it and the agency to anyone who is looking for a authentic Parisian getaway.

We stayed 11 nights in this apartment and I couldn’t agree more with the previous reviewers about all positive things about it.
However, to my surprise nobody mentioned 2 major negative things: a very noisy bar right next door, that works about 3-4 days a week, and the very loud music blasted from their open back door right in our window till midnight.
And the second thing is that the metro trains run right under this apartment and you can hear them from 5 a.m. till 1:30 a.m. very clearly.
The comfort of the apartment and its location though are unbeatable.

Posted by: Corinne | 02 October 2010 at 04:29

The apartment was very comfortable and ideal for our needs. The kitchen was compact but efficient and the overall layout was perfect. The metro stop “Vaneau” was right across the street, but many things were within walking distance. There was evidence of water damage in the bathroom, but it did not impact our comfort. Overall we were very happy.

I had a wonderful stay mid February. The weather was atrocious for an Aussie but the apartment was warm and snug. As a lone traveller I felt safe, loved the interent connection and the service provided by SCI PA Location staff. Position was great;- Metro over the road, supermarket down the street and Bakery and deli to die for. It’s cheap by Paris standards and you get what you pay for, but I found it clean, warm and comfortable.

Posted by: Angie Deeks | 21 March 2010 at 00:36

We recently stayed over Christmas at this apartment, and despite a few hiccups, it wasn’t too bad.

There was no apparent lighting in the kitchenette, making cooking a bit difficult.

The room was quite dusty and there was some mold damage in the bathroom, so there was a bit of a smell in the apartment the whole time we were there.

Also, upon leaving, the driver that we had arranged through never showed up and the number we were told to call in case of emergencies or problems was unmanned so we had to find our own way.

Aside from these things, this apartment is at a wonderful location with shopping, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and a train station nearby.

Posted by: Jessica | 06 January 2010 at 16:50

This was the third time we have stayed in the apartment so that shows how much we like the apartment and dealing with your agency.

On the first evening of the latest trip, using the kettle resulted in all the electrics going off. Luckily we had a torch but the phone was unusable. We called the hot line repeatedly but got no response for more than 12 hours.

The master switch was then easily found once we knew what to look for.

Suggestions: Provide the necessary information, make sure the hot line is manned and provide a torch.

Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time in Paris and the apartment was very well located and convenient. Just a few (tiny) suggestions…a phone book in the apartment would have been a great help since I didn’t want to drag my laptop all over Europe. Also a brief write up of local spots (like the grocery store, Malo down the street for fresh bread, the best local cafes) would have been cool – although we managed just fine on our own, it might help those who were are a little unsure. All in all it was wonderful and I would recommend your service to anyone. Thank you ever so much again! I can’t wait to return!

We stayed here for a week and had a great time (our first time in Paris). So close to the metro, and in a wonderful neighborhood. Samuel, who met us and let us in, was very sweet and made sure we were comfortable before he left. Head over to Bon Marche’s market and pick up some snacks and wine (pretty reasonable too) or head a few doors down to the grocery store for supplies.

Posted by: Rebecca | 08 October 2009 at 00:33

Great little apartment well located next to metro station and Bon Marche shopping centre. Much better than staying in a hotel.
