CHAMPS10 – rue Pergolese, 75016 Paris

RENT THIS APARTMENT

Guest Comments

We had a wonderful time in this apartment (CHAMPS10). We felt as if we were at home. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. The location is great. The apartment is very silent even though it is located a few steps from Champs Elysses. SCI is a very serious Company. I do recommend it. We used the taxi service they offered and it was absolutely convenient. The only problem was about the stereo system, the hair dryer and wifi that were not working. We are looking forward to returning soon to this same apartment.

Had a wonderful stay  in Paris. We stayed at 12 bis pergolese from Nov 2008 to Nov 2009 and was very satisfied with the apartment and the great service. We would highly recommend the agency to anyone wanting to spend some time in Paris. Their service is outstanding and geared toward repeat business.

This is a wonderful place to stay: quiet; great bath and shower; firm bed; excellent high speed internet; nice kitchen and appliances; good lighting; and, excellent location.

It is easy to get from the airport by RER with minimum stairs and handy to the #1 metro line.

There is an ATM at the corner, a bakery near that and a grocery within a block.

The apartment was clean. It is not fancy but it is very comfortable.

Great apartment in a great location, just a short walk to bakery, supermarket, metro and ATM. We felt like we were Parisians rather than tourists and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very good service. If we are in Paris again we would certainly be asking for this apartment or one very close by.

We spent 2 weeks in Pergolese 12 Bis
appartment located between Avenue de la Grande Armée and Avenue Malakof. We had a wonderful stay and the staff was very helpful. We found graet pastries, bread fruits and many other goodies very close by. Thanks, we will be back!

We stayed at the apartment for a week in early March, 2011. It was very comfortable, quiet, and in a good location. The photos were very accurate. We were met at the apartment at 10:30 A.M. which was great after our overnight flight from Chicago. Agency was very easy to work with and we will likely use them again for future Paris rentals.

Hi,

My fiance and I rented two beautiful apartments managed by SCI PA Location The process from initial inquiry to check out was easy and seamless. The apartments were clean and looked exactly like the photos. We had an incident where we locked the keys in the apartment. We received a quick response from the rental office and were given almost immediate access to the apartment. My wedding was in Paris and I had many friends use the same agency. They were all equally pleased with the excellent service and great rental prices.

Thanks for everything!

This apartment was excellent. Perfect location for us, very comfortable and quiet.
The agency was extremely cooperative when we had a problem with dates and we will definitely use them again.

Gentlemen:

We were very pleased with the apartment we rented from you for two weeks. In fact we would like to rent it again next year.

We love the set up, the location and your punctuality.

Also, we were quite satisfied with the airport transportation service.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Paris Plage 2011 – July 21st to August 21st

The phenomenom ofParis Plage (Paris Beach) celebrates it’s 10th anniversary over the next month on the North bank of the Seine alongside Ile de la Cite and Ile St Louis.

What is normally a busy traffic route is transformed into a beach with deckchairs, parasols, cabins and showers, boardwalks and palm trees. A continuous daily programme of cultural and sporting activities combined with specially constructed cafes, bars, restuarants and ice cream vendors completes the seaside offering.

Great fun and a novel attraction for tourists, it helps to keep Parisians who remain in the city for August, relatively cool!!

Notre Dame Gardens – a break from the tourist trail and maybe even a quick snooze !

When the going gets tough and you need respite from the crowds and din on the concrete plaza or the queue for the towers in front of Notre Dame, slip through the little gate to the right/river side of the cathedral itself and you will find yourself in a beautiful flowered garden with shady trees and benches overlooking the Seine and Ile Saint Louis.

Very few people even know it exists so it is just the place for a break from the hurly-burly of being a tourist in Paris – you could even have a little snooze !!

Banks of the Seine to be reclaimed for the pedestrians of Paris

The Banks of the Seine are to be reclaimed for the pedestrians of Paris, with cars replaced by promenades, botanical gardens, a flower market and a floating cafe.

Under plans to radically reshape the banks of the river by 2012, unveiled by socialist mayor Bertrand Delanoe, a kilometre-long stretch of the left bank from Musee d’Orsay to Pont de l’Alma would be transformed into a park, footpath and cycle path. An archipelago of artificial islands is included in the plans.

Trains, boats (and buses) but no planes! – Paris Montparnasse to Dublin Heuston

Nearly home - entering Cork Harbour on the Pont Aven - 19th April 2010

Full marks to SNCF (despite a strike) and the TGV, as well as Brittany Ferries for getting me (and Anna who had been travelling for 56 hours!) safely home to Dublin on Saturday. The TGV ran like clockwork and via a shuttlebus from Morlaix brought us from Paris Montparnasse to Roscoff in four and a half hours. 2,ooo of us on the Pont Aven from Roscoff to Cork were comfortably looked after by Brittany Ferries.

Needles to say the inefficiencies of the Irish public transport system took over once we landed in Cork – no buses to the train station, no taxis (despite hundreds of us willing to hand over our last few bob to get closer to home) and a broken down train on the Cork-Dublin track !
