LOUIS02 – rue saint Louis en l’Ile, Ile Saint Louis, 75004 Paris

RENT THIS APARTMENT

I spent most of June and July in LOUIS02 with a friend so we got to know it well – my favourite thing about it ? – its wonderful location. We were close to everything. A short walk would take us to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, the Luxembourg Gardens and many other places. A main metro and RER station close by also allowed us to be at Montmartre in 20 minutes.

The island is absolutely gorgeous and quaint. You feel like you are in your own little French village while in the centre of the most amazing capital in the world. You get to experience the life of a true Parisian when going to buy your baguette in Madame Martin’s bakery just below the apartment, or your cheese from the brothers in the fromagerie.

The apartment itself is well furnished and everything has been laid out to make maximum use of the space. Although we were wary of the fact that the bed is actually a sofa bed, it was as comfortable as any proper bed I have slept in.

The only things we had a problem with were the frying pan that was too large for the stove and so could not be used, and the wardrobe doors that wouldn’t close properly. However we notified the owner of this and he replaced the pan and sent someone in to fix the doors.

You wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else other than in this apartment in this location – we will be booking with Parisbynumbers again.

Great location, walk everywhere. 3 min to Notre Dame,10 min to Le Marais/Hotel de Ville/Bastille on the right side,10 min to Latin Qtrs/St.Germain on the left. Warning,4 floor walk up tough for two 60-yr olds, but the apt had everything we needed.Noisy trash pick up at 7 but wonderful church bells at 9.Wonderful views of the Seine from the bridges.Very happy with our selection & thanks to Eric for his welcome.

Fantastic apartment in a great location. The agency was easy to deal with and everyone was very helpful.

Basic but very serviceable apartment with a perfect location. Far better value than a hotel room. Lovely view of Saint-Louis en l’Ile church out the window. Great service from SCI PA Location–everything was smooth, easy, and exactly as described. Thanks for a very pleasant stay!

Very good apartment and an excellent localization. We loved our days there and we certainly intend to use your services again when we came back to France. Thanks for everything.

We really  enjoyed our stay in this studio apartment in the Ile St. Louis.  It was perfect for our needs, and such a pleasure to be able to walk out the door into such a lovely environment and to be within minutes of the Marais.  It is a remarkably peaceful place to be in the heart of such a big and busy city. It was so handy to have such a variety of restaurants on the doorstep, a nice and friendly general stores-type shop a few minutes away, as well as boulangeries, cafes and even a post office just around the corner. We do hope to be able to go back there some time again in the future.

Thanks to Paris Apartments by numbers and Liam for accommodating our last minute booking.

Really enjoyed my days here! above a cheese shop and a pastry shop, across the street from Bertillon ice cream. it is very sunny and good sized for a studio, and you can hear the church bell from the old church down the street.
Owner is very accommodating.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment – just the best that two young people would wish to have. There is all one may need inside and outside the apartment. There is a smell of history everywhere. This place is 2 min walk from where Esmeralda used to dance… St.Louis en Ile is like a smooth water in the ocean of Paris – quite and peaceful.

Special Thanks to Fabien – a very pleasant young man, who welcomed us and helped to accommodate smoothly enough.

This apartment is lovely and set back from the street so there are no concerns about noise. I appreciated the flexibilty afforded to me when I needed to change arrival time at short notice. And as others have said the proximity to two Metro stations was great (Chemin Vert is out the front of the building and Bastille a short walk away)

This is my second time renting from this agency and I’ve found the staff to be responsive and very helpful.

This apartment is great for two people- the apartment has everything you need, and the location is amazing: (1)bakery and grocery within a one minute walk, (2) metro right outside your door, Bastille stop a five minute walk, (3) the Richard Lenoir open market on Thursdays and Sundays is right around the corner.

STGER33 – rue du Bac, 75007 Paris

My husband and son and I spent a few days at this apartment and were very content here. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean, and the apartment was in good order. It’s more homey than elegant, but that suited us. It was perfectly clean and pleasant. It’s also nice and roomy. The separated shower and toilet were not particularly troublesome in our opinion, and it’s true that the shower is very tiny, so beware if you are of any substantial size!

I would recommend the addition of a teapot and a few mugs, but beyond that it had everything we needed and was in a great location.

Great Service. The STGER33 apartment is a bit rundown but clean and in an excellent location. Close to food stores, bakery, metro station, taxi stand, restaurants, and at walking distance to many points of interest. Was there in very cold weather and heating and hot water were excellent.

Service with SCI was very good and the transportation arrangements from the airport to the apartment were very prompt.
The apartment was good, confortable and the location was amazing ! I will certainly look for this agency again on my next trip to Paris and , who knows, stay at the same STGER33 !

STGER33 is very nice and very well located in Saint Germain des Pres.
The only problem I found is that the bath is split in two parts, very far from each other. And the shower is little for people like me and my sons, all of us 186 cm tall and over.
Anyway, we enjoyed it very much for sure. I recommend it without any doubt.
This was the fifth time I rented an apartment with SCI since 2003 when I first met Mme Fouquerand.
All of them are located in different locations: Montparnasse, Quartier Latin, Ille de St Louis, rue Vaugirard, and rue du Bac.
I have allways been satisfied. That`s why I suggest any person to trust them. I do.
Thanks very much. Au revoir!

My husband and I stayed in this STGER33 for one month in April. After weeks of searching online, we discovered SCI  and have been completely satisfied with their service and the apartment. Xavier and his team are very professional and accommodating. If you’re looking to rent an apartment in Paris, look no further than SCI.

This Rue du Bac apartment is in the perfect location. Just five minutes walking distance to the Louvre and a couple of blocks away from the Musee d’Orsay, it only gets better that there’s an Eric Kayser bakery just down the street. The best grocery store in Paris, La Grande Epicerie, is few blocks up the street and there’s an open air market several times a week in the neighborhood. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood as well. It’s a quiet neighborhood during the weekends, but if you want more excitement it’s only a few minutes away.

The apartment itself is very spacious for it’s size. The only complaint we had was about the shower, it’s very narrow. My husband at 6′ 2″ had a hard time getting in and out of the shower. The kitchen is stocked with the basics, pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. But if you want to cook often, I highly suggest getting your own, the knives in the apartment are very dull! Overall the apartment is very comfortable and the neighborhood couldn’t be any nicer.

We will certainly look to SCI to book our next apartment and we hope to get STGER33 again.

Great apartment. Clean and spacious! Although be prepared for the walk up to the fourth floor – just part of the french experience!

Apartment is centrally located and very convenient!

Great apartment! Very clean and very comfortable. Central location. As mentioned, the only disadvantage is the 4th floor and no lift. Definately still worth it though. We will use you next time we are in Paris.

The staff at the agency provided superior service and STGER14 was an excellent choice for our family of four. The location was great–quiet, safe, and a short walk to metro/attractions/groceries. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our 5-day stay. The bed was comfortable for my husband and me, and our 9-year-old twins slept well on the sofa sleeper in the living room. We will book future stays with you.

This is a very nice, clean and centrally located flat with everything in short walking distance.

As always, the condition of the flat and the service by SCI is superior.

I look forward to future stays with you.

The location is remarkable and the services are great. We want to give a special thanks to Vesna, Mr. Jean Claude and Mr.Yolan. We hope to come back soon and will commend this place to all our friends. Best regards, Maria Emilia Vieira.

The best location in Paris. Very nice and clean apartment, central but quiet, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only disadvantage: it´s a fourth floor with no lift, but it´s worth the effort.
We had a wonderful stay in Paris, STGER14 was a great choice, and the service was excellent.

The appartment is quite large and bright. Tiny bathroom, though. And tiniest lift ever seen! It seemed to us like a vertical coffin!
Best location if you love shopping, eating and walking (but a bit crowded).

We stayed for a week from 17 October. The apartment was large (we used the study as a second bedroom), light, in good condition, with everything we needed and the agency person was very helpful especially with the luggage! The absolute best location in Paris.

The apartment at 79 Rue Ile St Louis is spacious and attractive. The location is superb. But be prepared to carry your luggage to level 5.

We stayed for 6 days at 79 Rue Saint Louis en Ile and were very pleased with the accommodations and location. So very many sights were within walking distance and it was very easy to get around. We managed the 5 flights of stairs each day, but it is a consideration for those not physically fit – we found the tiny elevator was generally on another floor and could not be called. We had a wonderful visit to Paris, found the people warm and welcoming, and would be happy to rent from SCI PA Location again.

Three days in mid August with two young children. Location was ideal for a first family visit to Paris with so much in walking distance. The apt was very good, larger than expecte and easily accomodated four without claustrophobia. Meeting arrangements and cleanliness were good. Five flights of stairs ood for the legs as the elevator is very very very small

My daughter and I were very pleased with the service of your company. The appointment when I arrived in Paris was kept very promptly and the appartment was exactly as presented. It was spacious and very comfortable. The location at 79 rue Saint Louis en Ille was charming and so central to everything we wanted to do. We hope to return to Paris next year as we have now been to Paris four times in the last five years. This was the second appartment we have booked with your company and we will certainly contact you for our next trip.

QLATIN10 – rue du Petit Pont, 75005 Paris

This charming apartment has an enormous view of Notre Dame from the large balcony – it seems closer than the photos would suggest. The expansive view makes the space inside feel brighter and larger. The location couldn’t be better – close to a central Metro stop, and walkable to many of the popular sites in the City. After a long day of sightseeing, it was comforting to “come home” for our evening aperitif with cheese and crackers, overlooking the Cathedral, boats on the Seine, booksellers, cafes and pedestrians at the busy intersection. The late night noisy Latin Quarter street next door didn’t bother us (with the windows closed), since the apartment is high enough above it (and I sleep with ear plugs!). We figured out how to make the lift work – by jiggling and holding the key just so. Everything else worked as expected. The photos capture the apartment accurately: it is well fitted out, a tiny bit worn here and there, but over all in good shape. The dryer, unlike vented dryers in the U.S., takes many hours to finally dry the clothes. The A/C worked in both the bedroom and the living area, and was helpful on a couple of hot days and nights. Otherwise we just opened the door to the balcony and let the fresh air in. It was a delightful home away from home for a week in Paris.

An amazing stay. The view over Notre Dame is ***more than fantastic*** The Michelin guide puts three stars on sites that are worth the detour. This apartment has three stars on my heart. And the location is wonderful: do not miss the Shakespeare and Company Bookshop at half a block, and the wonderful “petits dejeuners” at Maubert, three blocks away. NOT TO BE MISSED.

I stayed in QLATIN10 from 18th to 25th September 2008. I had no problems with the lift (elevator) but Fabien warned me never to enter it without the key in case it stopped. I always took guests down to let them out but I would do that anyway.

Fabien said the lift is going to be replaced fairly soon. With luck it will be a newer type that cannot be “hijacked” if someone fails to close the outer door on their level, as so many of the older style Paris lifts are able to do. As I said, I had no problems at all.

I loved the apartment. The view of Notre Dame from the lovely terrace is wonderful and the location is perfect. My friends and I sat there in the evenings for meals and after dinner drinks.

Fabien met me as arranged and was very helpful and showed me all the ins and outs. He gave me his email and mobile phone contacts. The first morning I found the on-stove kettle had sprung a leak and sent an email and by the time I got back from sightseeing the cleaner had left a new electric kettle for me in the hallway. That was great service.

I agree the bedroom would be noisy if you left the windows open but there is airconditioning on both levels so that should not be necessary. If you wanted to air the flat you can leave windows open during the day without any security worries.

The photos on the website are a true representation of the flat and it is attractive and comfortable. There are two things that ideally should be fixed (I told Fabien about these): (1)The awning on the balcony which does not open due to some problem and
(2) The roman style blind over the doors to the balcony had been accidentally mishandled by a previous guest and could not be lowered but I got around that by using a spare sheet held up by some existing hooks to give privacy overnight when I had a guest staying on the sofa bed.

It is a beautiful flat and I would happily live in it as would a number of my Parisian friends who visited. I happily recommend QLATIN10, particularly for the seasons in which you can use the terrace as an “outdoor living room”.
