If you are near Madeleine, avenue Wagram, Stade de France (and plenty of other locations that escape me right now), do yourself a favour and visit a Decathlon store. For range, price and quality of their own brands including Quechua, Wedze Kipsta, you won’t do better for gear for any sport you can think of (except hurling!) at home or abroad.
As a family, we buy all our ski wear, rucksacks, footwear etc there and if I’m passing the Madeleine branch (direct access underground from the Metro station (lines 8,12 and 14) I usually drop in myself to see what’s on offer at the time – they always have a rolling selection of products from their “blue” range at seriously discounted prices.
